RuSVD educational programme for veterinary specialists developing their competencies in dermatology.
School of Dermatology programme
The full course consists of six five-day modules, from skin biology and the diagnostic approach to oncodermatology and special areas. Each module includes lectures, practical sessions and clinical case discussions.
Modules: 6. Teaching days: 30. Days per module: 5.
Module 1 is the entry module with no prerequisites. The other modules open after it is completed.
- Skin anatomy and biology. Bacterial infections
- Fungal, parasitic and viral skin diseases
- Allergic, immune-mediated and autoimmune skin diseases
- Endocrine, metabolic and environment-related skin diseases
- Genetic diseases, skin tumours and psychogenic dermatoses
- Otitis, diseases of special anatomical areas and dermatology of small mammals
